Grown and cultivated as a whole stick, and harvested in the fragrant fields of the ancient land of Agrigento, Sicily. The farm is located near the southern coastline in Sicily, where the volcanic soil is rich and mountain air gives our product a unique flavor.
Pungent, spicy flavor makes it a perfect match for your tomato sauces, eggplant, seafood, and grilled meats. Try sauteing aromatic vegetables in extra virgin olive oil with garlic and our oregano.
All year the Sicilian oregano plant produces small, fragrant, oval leaves with toothed edges that are dark green and rough to the touch. The white or yellow flowers are small, star-shaped and clustered together at the branch tips. They usually appear from spring through fall, especially after a rain, and are fragrant. Small, dry, round fruits follow the blooms.
