About the Artist
Adolphe Philippe Millot (1857–1921) was a 19th century French painter, lithographer and entomologist who illustrated many of the natural history sections of Petit Larousse. Millot was the senior illustrator at Muséum national d'histoire naturelle and was also a member of the Salon des Artistes Francaise (honourable mention, 1891) and the Société entomologique de France. His work is highly desired as decorative accents.
