The family business of Capasso Tartufi is located in the heart of Mount Taburno, an area that has always been known the beauty of the landscape and the unspoiled purity of the forests and ancient lands. The oil is a blend of Leccino and Frantoio olives.
The 100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained from the olive groves owned by the Capasso family, located in the Taburno Mount Park (900m above sea level) in an uncontaminated place of rare beauty. Also Virgil remembered Taburno Mount for the olive grove cultivation in the Georgics and the Aeneid on the duel between Aeneas and Turn: “Iuvat olea magnum vestire Taburnum”. For the Evo oil production, we select the finest olives varieties, all entirely hand- picked. They are pressed on the same day at controlled temperatures and processed according to the most modern cold pressing technologies. The result is a whirlpool of scents and colours, a perfect mix of bitter and spicy in the right dose, which makes our oil unique.
To guarantee the excellence of the olive oil and the groves, they maintain the beauty and the purity of the environment, as they do not use any type of chemical agent, dye or food additive. The freshness is obtained exclusively from the plots of land owned by the Capasso family from past generations.
